The storms are expected to move out around 3:30 PM. We will meet at the park at 5:00 PM (Cedar Hill State Park, POTA US-2996).
We’ll operate under the pavilion (reserved until 10:00 PM). Please use caution—wet grounds possible. Talk-in on 146.52 MHz.

Parks On The Air – Support Your Parks Weekend

Join the Irving Amateur Radio Club for the next Parks On The Air (POTA) Support Your Parks Weekend! We’ll be set up at Cedar Hill State Park from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM. A pavilion with nearby restrooms has been reserved for our group, and signs will be posted to help you find us. For talk-in directions, we’ll also be monitoring 146.52 MHz.

We’ll have multiple HF stations ready for anyone to operate. Since we’ll be using the club call sign with control operators on-site, all license classes are welcome to get on the air and participate.

Stick around for fellowship and a bite to eat—lunch, drinks, and good company will be provided.
