Doyle Leon Taylor, age 86, of Irving, Texas passed away on Thursday, September 22, 2022. Doyle was born February 6, 1936 to Raymond and Margie Ova Ferguson in Denison, Texas.

He is survived by his step-son Carl (Dawn) Fuller, step-children Marie Frazier, Robert Sterling, Mary Ann Mezzapelle and Coleta Wilkerson.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Pauline Martin and wives Mary Flanagan and Coleta Kornegay Taylor.

He served with pride in the Marine Corps and Army during the Korean War. He was a member of the Irving Amateur Radio Club using call sign AD5KE and volunteered with Irving Citizens on Patrol (ICOPs). He also enjoyed dancing at the Irving Heritage Senior Center with his friends.
